Healthy Club
We are privileged to be an Official Accredited Healthy Club
We were accepted onto the programme during the third phase in 2018-19.
Healthy Club
The main aim of the Healthy Club Project is to make the GAA club a hub for health and wellbeing; capable of providing their members and communities with programmes that support their physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
As a club we can consider and support areas of health and wellbeing such as Physical Activity, Diversity and Inclusion, Community Development, Mental Fitness, Substance Use and Gambling & Healthy Eating.
Throughout our Healthy Club journey we have organised / promoted many events including Healthy Eating Talks, Community Walks, Physical Fitness Programmes, Summer Camps, CPR / defibrillator training and supported our community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We look forward to continuing the good work of the Healthy Club Project and welcome any suggestions which can be made to the Healthy Club Officer or any member of the executive.
